Our preschool weekend ministry in the Neighborhood is  volunteer driven with one thing in common – a commitment to children, to their spiritual development and to guiding them into a relationship with Jesus.  We would not exist without their leadership and expertise.  Some of the volunteer roles are:

Classroom Teacher or Assistant

The Bible based curriculum we use during our weekend classes is based around center activity.  Our classrooms are structured with one lead teacher and three assistants.  The lead teacher greets parents, directs the center activity and leads out in Bible teaching.  The assistants in the classroom lead in one of the three areas of art, games or dramatic play. 

Praise and Worship Leader

Each service the children come to our children’s theater for praise and worship with fun music that is full of motions and dance.   Callie and Skitter (our puppet friends) come out of the club house each week to talk about what’s happening in their neighborhood.

Computer Check-In

Fifteen minutes before each service we have a volunteer at our computers to assist parents with check-in.  If you have basic computer skills and would like to help before one of the weekend services, this is place for you!
